jurisprudential decree of woman’s outfits on the basis of the 59th verse, surah alـahzab

the subject of the present research would be the investigation on the qur’anic causes of religious veil for women. determining the jurisprudential decree of women’s wear and considering various functions of it, this research clarifies the kind and limit of clothing in the 59th verse of surah al- ahzab. in this regard, firstly it is considered the function of “this is because of …” and the ideas of morphologists and interpreters and accordingly, it is proved the relationship of them and the principle of clothing. afterward, by denying the distinctiveness of “from” in “completely cover themselves in front of non-mahram men” and reflecting on the stated issues related to the verse, it is concluded that the function of the stated cover in the verse is not only for hiding the covered thing but also for distinguishing the marked thing from the unmarked one. at the end, denying the famous revelation situation of the decree of the verse, it is finalized that the stated religious decree in the verse is considered a necessary and permanent issue. consequently, it is required that women completely cover themselves with chador or at least a loose and long cover while interacting with non-mahram men.
